COVID-19

Dear Tenants,
It is important to us in these uncertain times that we do what we can to protect our tenants and employees from the coronavirus. We care very much about everyone’s health and safety and wanted to communicate with you some policy changes and information you need.

Presently, our office will be closed to visitors. We will no longer be accepting cash for rent payments. Please pay by check or money order and mail it to PO Box 310, Scarborough, Maine 04070-0310 or put the payment in the drop slot by the oak door around the corner from our leasing office at 7 Oak Hill Terrace, Scarborough between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

We will be doing our best to clean door handles, mailboxes, and laundry machines in the multi-unit buildings often, but it is important that tenants follow best practices in their homes and common areas to protect themselves and their loved ones..

Toilet paper is in very short supply due to panic surrounding the coronavirus. Alternatives to toilet paper like paper towels or wipes can plug toilets or sewer lines. If you must resort to these types of alternatives, PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH THEM. They should be thrown out in the trash. This is imperative because tradespeople may not be able to fix plumbing problems because of coronavirus restrictions.

Please take care of yourselves and the people in your household. Wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face, and stay home if you are sick.
This is an important time for our communities and country to protect each other by following best practices.
